Thanks Youness for your answer. I've just tried to recompile svn sources (r. 8548) without that option (--enable-all), but I get the same error: > $ /usr/bin/amsnioctl: > VIDIOC_QUERYCTRL(id=134217730;type=unknown;name="";minimum=0;maximum=0;step=0;default_value=0;flags=0): > Input/output error > mjpg: panic: no more input data > Oops: malloc_video_bufs is 1 (expected 0) > [utils/linux/capture/libng/grab-ng.c:malloc_bufs_check:235] > Oops: processes is 1 (expected 0) > [utils/linux/capture/libng/convert.c:process_check:179] I've even tried to re-download all svn sources again in a new folder and re-compile, but without any result: it crash everytime I go in preferences -> audo/video wizard -> next (so, the page where you should see the image from webcam). Terminal, in this case is a bit different, from the above, but the reason it should be the same... > $ /usr/bin/amsn > mjpg: panic: no more input data > Oops: malloc_video_bufs is 1 (expected 0) > [utils/linux/capture/libng/grab-ng.c:malloc_bufs_check:235] > Oops: processes is 1 (expected 0) > [utils/linux/capture/libng/convert.c:process_check:179] Thank you, giopas -- "The paradigm of competition is a race: by rewarding the winner, we encourage everyone to run faster. When capitalism really works this way, it does a good job; but its defenders are wrong in assuming it always works this way. If the runners forget why the reward is offered and become intent on winning, no matter how, they may find other strategies--such as, attacking other runners.
