The Referrer Report in Analog counts the number of request to the server that included the given page as a referrer header given by the browser. Whether it's given for JavaScript includes depends on the browser, but I think that's true for almost all browsers (while not true for almost all spiders). Even if wwwstats report did not include the javascript-included images the difference is off by a factor of ten. So there must be something else different. Are you sure they are parsing the same set of log files? Is it possible that wwwstats is skipping log file lines (or files) that Analog is including? -- Jeremy Wadsack Wadsack-Allen Digital Group +------------------------------------------------------------------------ | TO UNSUBSCRIBE from this list: | http://lists.isite.net/listgate/analog-help/unsubscribe.html | | Digest version: http://lists.isite.net/listgate/analog-help-digest/ | Usenet version: news://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.analog.general | List archives: http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html#listarchives +------------------------------------------------------------------------
