A friend of mine recently upgraded her web server and asked me to
reinstall analog on the new box. I decided to try 5.91Beta version, as
it produces nicer output. It copied over all the old .cfg files, and set
everything up to use anlgform, which is how she has been analyzing her
logs for a couple of years now.

But I get the good old "Open/Save/Cancel" Dialog box when I try to point
my form at this version of anlgform.

Because it's been a while since I set this up, I doubled checked
everything, made sure all the web server permissions were correct, and
tried to see if there was anything in the headers that might explain
this.

Eventually, I just replaced the 5.91b version of analog.exe with the
5.24 version, and everthing worked right away.

anlgform.pl is the same in both versions (except for the version
string), so it must be something in the exe that's causing the problem.
Has anyone else tried this?

I'm using IIS5 on Win2K Professional, and IE6 as the client. I've tried
it with both anlgform.exe and anlgform.pl. The only difference between
the setup that works and the setup that doesn't is which verion of
analog.exe that I point at.
