Rüediger,

Take a look at the HOSTEXCLUDE command, as long as you are using a
static IP address you should be able to just exclude that address from
any log files analysed.

Hi John,
my HP is hosted at a service provider. So I get a new IP number when I connect, so at least one time per day. Example:

Server IP 217.5.98.84 I think this is the number of the service provider

I cannot see this IP number in the host report.

Client 217.228.28.102 that is the number the routing computer in my network gets from the service provider

I can see this number in the Host Report, DNS OFF.
If I switch on DNS write, this IP number is resolved to computer4, my routing computer in the network. I then can see computer4 in the Host Report.
Im working on computer1 in the network. I can exclude computer4 with HOSTEXCLUDE and all the request disappear from all reports.

If I make a ping from my routing computer4 to www.conelek.com I get the IP number

212.227.109.200

I cannot see this IP number in the host report.
So in the moment I make DNS write and HOSTEXCLUDE computer4.

Regards Rüdiger
