The only way I know of is to examine your browser report with no aliasing
and construct aliases based on the browsers listed. I have approximately
225 browser aliases in my config file that alias browsers into the format
BROWSER (OS; PLATFORM). My aliases break the browsers down into minor
version differences but could be slightly edited to only return the major
versions. I would be willing to post them as a text file on the Web if
anyone would be interested. I don't claim to have an exhaustive list as
I only alias the browsers that have been used to view pages on our Web
server and we have a relatively small amount of traffic.
