Thanks for all the support !

a) How about offering a "digest" mailing service, so that mail up to
<64k is collected and so just *one* mail is sent. This would be great
for users of POP3 mail accounts which are limited in the number of items
(and less by the size)

Yes

After a lot of processing - even the report file is created half.
Well, I use it with WIN95 in the DOS box - if it is a WIN95 program, how
may it run out of memory by this ? Any advice what to do ?

The last report finished is the DOMAIN report, the HOST report is
already missing. Remember that because of the 512 byte file sector
structure of MSDOS, maybe the output is broken later in the process than
at the HOST report.

The output messages stop at "Turning off empty User Failure Report", the
debug messages are still done in this section !

c)
*** Btw, I posted my ANALOG.CFG file as addedum with a second message.
But when the message came back by the mailing server, the body was
*empty*, and the addendum was not there.
So sending mails with addendum may cause a 100% loss (both the text body
*and* the addendum !)

This may happen because the mail systems are incompatible, or because
the mailing system was configured to do so. I mayself receive mails with
empty bodies, just with *a few* server but not necessarily with *all*
servers,
if the mail is in the HTML / MIME-TYPE format !

Even with DEBUG ON, I canīt find out whatīs the unknown configuration
command

e)
I wanted to replace the
/html/en/capture.html
as in the original logfiles by
http://www.hemmerling.com/html/en/capture.html

Jeremy Wadsack <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> advised:

If I say
LOGFILE c:\users\hp\logfiles\hemmerli\access_log
http://www.hemmerling.com

I donīt need the %v parameter, and I got no special virtual
configuration

Unfortunately, I get the message in the report file
> Successful requests: 0
> Logfile lines without status code: 2 989
> Corrupt logfile lines: 1
> Unwanted logfile entries: 1 801
And the debug output is

> F: Closing language file lang/uk.lng
> F: Opening domains.tab as domains file
> F: Closing domains file domains.tab
> F: Opening c:\users\hp\logfiles\hemmerli\access_log as logfile

Just for Stephen: I send you my Analog configuration file. As I said, it
is probably *not* posted by the mailing list.

Sincerely
