Hi,

we analyze logs of a Hyperwave server written in NCSA combined log format.
A typical entry looks like (line shortened and wrapped):

foo.bar.com - anonymous [03/May/2000:11:29:02 +0200]
"GET /Homepage;internal&action=_extended.search.action
&Parameter=0?PLACE_EXSEARCH_VAR%3Dex1=... HTTP/1.0"
200 8000 "http://our.server.com/Homepage;internal&action=cd.search.action"
"Mozilla/4.7 [en] (Win95; I)"

How can I avoid analog's differentiation according the long parameter
lists respectively the search arguments after the first semicolon
(;internal...)?

I want that analog handles all such requests of my example line simply as
"/Homepage".

I tried

  ARGSEXCLUDE *
  REFARGSEXCLUDE *

but that seems to ignore only the part beginning with the "?".

I tried also to use regular expression translation such as

  FILEALIAS REGEXP:^(.*);internal.* $1

but that seems also to change some other reports (for e.g. the number of
successful requests for pages was decreased ?).

Can I say analog to handle the ";" as start of the parameter list
instead of the "?" character?

Any other ideas ?

Jens
