I've seen this happen on clusters where the logrotator gets overworked. In
fact, if your virtual hosting a site, it's possible that some of those
requests are even from different sites (unless they all have your vhost
domain specified). I think you should talk to 9netave about it and get them
to fix their rotator or ease the load on their servers.
