I'm a new user of analog. I installed analog 4.11 at my IIS4; Sp6a Server.
When I start analog.exe, it will produce the result.htm file - everything is
like my .cfg configuration.
Now I have problems with the perl script. I Active Perl 5.6.0.617 (actual
download) and copied the demo files to the web page.
When I start anlgform.htm I can start the anlgform.pl. The server will start
perl.exe and the result at my browser is the error no 500 (internal server
failure)
When I start anlgform.pl directly, I will get the following message at my
browser:
Program Failure
Analog failed to run or returned an error code.
Maybe your server's error log will give a clue why. [Fri Sep 15 12:48:56

E:\Internetseiten\zoz.de\cgi-bin\anlgform.pl line 109.
So, the next thing I tried is to rename the .pl file to .plx, because I
found in the readme of ActivePerl that the .plx files are started as an
ISAPI program and the .pl are run with perl.exe (just a performance
advantage)
With the plx extension the server will start analog.exe and nerver stop it.
When I start it five times I have five times the analog.exe in the server's
task manager and I'm not allowed to stop the task.
What is the failure ? All of you are able to run the perl script, but not me
:-(
