I have been able to use the contributed program maillog2commonlog to produce an output of my mail server (postfix). However one point concerning the output has myself perplexed. The part in question is the final bit of the output termed "Who got mail". the output on the screen looks like this on my ouput: #reqs: %bytes: user or host -------: -----------: ------------------ 164: 45.6%: images 67: 54.39%: (root directory) 15: : analogimages These reference directories on my system, not actual users or hosts. Is there something in the configuration file that I have to change to read actual users or hosts in this section or is this normal output. The rest of the output looks Ok to me and as I use it only for my own personal use, I am not really concerned about this part of the output. But I would like to know why this is occurring. Any suggestions or pointers? Thanks in advance.
