I have been using Maillog2commonlog and producing mailstats for my site.
Upto the other day the program was working OK, however when I attempted to
produce the stats for the last week the output file produced only contained
1 day. The mail log file (using postfix) does not have anything different in
it that I can see, when compared to the logs I have been using prior. The
only difference that I can see is that this maillog was about 100K smaller
in size.
>From the command line I have been using "Perl maillog2commonlog postfix <
maillog.1 > mail" This has beeen producing the file 'mail' which I then run
through analog. But as stated, this time it only gives me a "mail" file
containing 1 day's of mail entries. I tried several times but each result
was the same.
Has anyone had this problem occur and if so what measures did they employ to
overcome it.
Many Thanks..
Wallace Mills
