I can't get Analog 4.16 to except the logformat command. These are the
commands I use:
# LOGFORMAT time c-ip cs-username cs-method cs-uri-stem sc-status time-taken
cs(User-Agent)
LOGFORMAT (%h:%n:%j %S - %j %r %c %T -)
LOGFORMAT (%h:%n:%j %S %u %j %r %c %T %A)
# LOGFORMAT AUTO
LOGFORMAT (#Software: %j\n)
LOGFORMAT (#Version: %j\n)
LOGFORMAT (#Date: %j\n)
LOGFORMAT (#Fields: %j\n)
These are the lines in the logfiles. They are a custom chosen set of fields
in the w3-fieldset, generated by MS IIS4 on MS NT4. Each log file describes
one day.
#Software: Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0
#Version: 1.0
#Date: 2001-03-16 00:00:02
#Fields: time c-ip cs-username cs-method cs-uri-stem sc-status time-taken
cs(User-Agent)
00:00:02 195.86.71.150 - GET /index.htm 200 20 -
08:39:35 195.86.71.57 - GET /images/naviga/nav_edu1_f2.gif 200 611
Opera/5.01+(Windows+95;+U)++[en]
195.86.71.150 is the system that checks whether the site is on-line.
195.86.71.57 would be me.
This is the error:
C:\PROGRA~1\ANALOG\ANALOG.EXE: Warning C: Bad argument in configuration
command: ignoring it:
LOGFORMAT "%h:%n:%j %S - %j %r %c %T -"
And because of the error Analog tries to auto-detect the logformat, which of
course fails because there are no date in the lines.
I've been working on this for about a month, reading every bit of info I
could find. Please help.
