But if you've read the documentation, you won't get something you don't
expect.

 Actually, the CHARTDIR and LOCALCHARTDIR are just prefixes to the
 filename, so you can specify something like
 CHARTDIR /stats/rep1
 LOCALCHARTDIR /usr/local/htdocs/stats/rep1

 to put the pie charts in locations like
/usr/local/htdocs/stats/rep1dom.png
 and link to them like <img src="/stats/rep1dom.png">.

You may argue that the suffix "DIR" is misleading, but the ability to
have all charts in a single directory, by having a different prefix for
each one, is useful.

Having said that, for my uses it would be useful if there was a way to
have analog use the filename I specified for the outfile as the prefix
for the charts. For example:

analog +Owednesday.htm

would produce .../charts/wednesdaydom.png

analog +Ofriday.htm

would produce .../charts/fridaydom.png
