I am following your advice and have put in both the commands you suggested,
but DIREXCLUDE / does nor seem to exclude the root directory from my
Directory Report! Am I doing something else wrong.

REQEXCLUDE /

removes those entries from the Request Report.

DIREXCLUDE /

removes them from the Directory Report.

Why do you want to do this?
