I suddenly have my own site listed in my Failed Referrer report. I assumed that this was a broken link from within my site, but not so. I have tracked it down to the following line in a log file :
207.219.2.31 - - [01/Nov/2002:05:00:23 +0000] "POST /cgi-bin/FormMail.pl HTTP/1.1" 404 305 "http://www.midtowncottages.com"; "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; AIRF; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)" Can someone explain what this is and why it appears to come from my own site (midtowncottages.com)?
