Hi,

I would like to be able to use a different DNS server to the one that my
web server currently uses in its network settings. Is there a
configuration option to point the lookups at a different server? I have
looked for this in the archives/on Google but have been able to find no
mention of it!

Second (more peripheral) question: approximately how long should analog
take (including lookups) to run? Obviously this is very much a 'how long
is a piece of string?' question, but to give you some idea of my setup -
I'm running a batch file on Windows 2000 which runs analog and then
report magic for a 2 month period. Each log file is approximately 5Mb
and the connection is more than fast enough to cope with a lot of
traffic. I was unsure about the reliability of the DNS server until
recently, but they have just moved it to a shiny new machine, so I'm
fairly sure that's not slowing it down.

My script takes minimum an hour (more like 2) to run. Is this overly
long (or short, I suppose :)?

Thanks for your responses in advance.

Regards,
Alice
