I didn't think of the wrong hit count in my own idea in the first place. Of course, 
you are right and the hit counts would be wrong,
if I generated additional lines in the log.

So, thanks again for pointing out my error.

I'll try to implement your idea and will come back here, either if I run into problems 
or if I'm successful.
