I know, I know. Unique visitors cannot be counted reliably. I've read the page. But. I STILL want to see the numbers. And I believe my setup allows me to, since I only have dynamic pages. And a unique session id is always generated.
Using Tomcat, I found a way to insert the session id into the access log. Analog's USER report now shows all visitors to the site! It's explained in detail here:

I assume the trick works for PHP and ASP sites, too. Feedback is appreciated. Email me personally, since I'll unsubscribe from this list right away.
