Hello,
I'm running Analog 6.0 on Mac OS 10.3.8 Server.
I'd like to have my OUTFILE be /Username/public_html/analog/%M-%Y/index.html
and I'd like the IMAGEDIR to be /Username/public_html/analog/%M-%Y/images/
I've added these to the analog.cfg file.
When I run analog (via "sudo analog"), I get this error:
"failed to open output file /Username/public_html/analog/02-2005/index.html for writing: exiting"
I am guessing that this is because analog cannot create directories, which is a little strange 'cos I am running analog as sudo, and it can create the necessary files. If I create a directory in the above format, say 02-2005, and run analog (via sudo of course), there are no errors and analog creates the index.html file.
This brings me to my next puzzle. I realize that IMAGEDIR specifies the URL used in the IMG tag (and not the location of images on disk), but I'd like to be able to store the images as specified above. My utlimate goal is to preserve each month's logs in a different directory.
Has anyone run into something similar? I went through the docs, but I haven't seen anything that could help. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place or not looking hard enough?
Any ideas, suggestions?
Kind Regards,
KM
