Hi,

I'm running Analog v5.23 to produce monthly reports of the number of
distinct hosts visiting my sites for that month only. Then at the end of
the year I run a report for all the traffic for that year.

What has me puzzled is that the annual report has a Distinct hosts figure
which is slightly higher than the *sum* of all the monthly totals.

I would have expected a huge overlap in the IP addresses/hostnames visiting
the site month-to-month, so an annual Distinct hosts would be considerably
lower than the sum of 12 months.

Any suggestions on what could be going wrong?

Many thanks
