I'm from Argentina but when visiting NY last week, I bought an
unlocked G1. Back then, I tried it with my SIM card from Argentina and
worked fine so I bought it.

The phone is working, I can make/receive calls and use everything wi-
fi related (I don't have 3G service here in Arg.) but the strange
thing happened when I turned on the phone in Argentina as for any
reason, it's sending some kind of internal SMS to a non-existing
number in Argentina and I'm receiving each hour approximately and
error SMS from my company saying that the SMS I sent couldn't reach
the destination.

Obviously, those SMS were not sent by me and if I check the sent items
I don't see anything sent. I tried to unchecked some options like auto-
sync, connect only to 2G networks but still the same problem.

I performed some tests putting my SIM again in my previous phone and
no error SMS received, I used another SIM (not mine) in my G1 and I
started back receiving the SMS.

Any idea of what might be wrong????
Thanks
