I am trying to get the USB driver that is used by ADB installed on Vista, 32-bit. (I downloaded this android_usb_windows.zip from the developer site). The driver does not install, and this is the message from Vista:
Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. - HTC Dream Composite ADB Interface. Access is denied. Is anybody else facing this problem. I have tried on 3 different computers all running Vista, with the same results.
