Try using this one:

or directly in xml:

 <Button android:text="@+id/Button01"
        android:id="@+id/Button01"
        android:drawableLeft="@drawable/icon"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content">
        </Button>
