Hi! The Home screen of Android has a StatusBar at the top and displays the desktop folders. I need to change this to a custom look as follows. -A status bar at the top -A similar bar at the bottom -And one bar running parallel to the left edge of the screen -All three bars are visible all the time -Applications will be launched in the space left in the middle I have tried to manipulate in StatusBarService.java by adding views to WindowManagerImpl but nothing seem to be working.
Please guide if I am going in the right direction!
