Hi, Now I know that a dialog has to be started from an activity. However I have a service running and I want it to be able to display a dialog.
Having searched about this I know the normal thing to do is to display a status bar notification, however I want to interrupt the user and stop them doing whatever they currently are. Is there any way to do this? I know its considered bad programming, but it won't be as intrusive as it sounds!
