Hoo boy!  It's been much better the last week or two, but there were
days only two months ago where I was hitting the "Report This Thread
As Spam" button 10 to 20 times a day.  And seeing the same screen
names over, and over, and over...

And with the automatic translation, there's no reason to let the
Arabic, Chinese, or other language spams get by - the translations
aren't perfect, but even the hackneyed "Engrish" output is perfectly
fine for deducing the subject matter.

Can't prove it by me - either they aren't being held for moderation,
or the spammers are getting smart enough to figure out an on-topic
first post, or the Moderators aren't culturally enlightened enough to
spot a somewhat disguised spam post.

Might want to tell the Code Warriors at Google Groups about the
circumventions, so they can patch the leaks in the dike.
