I wouldn't expect it to. But, since I'm not an Eclipse user and don't
set that flag, I'm certainly not an expert on the subject. :-)

Some other things to consider:

-- You're on WiFi, right?

-- Does the Browser application behave similarly sluggishly?

-- Have you tried this in an emulator image?
