What is a "preferences button"? Your original question referred to a "menu item", which I interpreted as meaning a "menu item". :-) If you are looking for a Preference that launches another activity, there isn't one in the SDK. You would have to write your own, or possibly see if the Settings application has one that you can mooch from the Android open source code. -- Mark Murphy (a Commons Guy) http://commonsware.com | http://github.com/commonsguy http://commonsware.com/blog | http://twitter.com/commonsguy _Android Programming Tutorials_ Version 2.9 Available! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
