I disagree with you. I would be really surprised if most of the winners were not individuals and small teams. Why? Because most of the new ideas come from individuals and small teams in my opinion. Assuming that the distribution of good ideas is the same among individuals and corporations then I think we should have more individuals (and small teams) winning.
