Why is Google GARage a better idea? Even if Google did put up a repository,
it doesn't address the issue of how you get the application to the device.
With SlideME you get an Android application manager client that can deliver
to the device and a soon to be released songbird extension that will allow
you to interact with the content and developers from the desktop. We are
focusing on collaborative features. Putting up a repository is one small
part.
