Haha yes - I am a Google Employee - you got me!

No, I develop applications and games for other Operating Systems and
have decided to make no moves to android until hardware is announced.
$25,000 to me, doesn't really matter - and I know for a fact I would
feel like crap if I had lost the challenge... but I would not have
cried about it.

I understand guys, you feel your application was better then the
rest. There is no question there... if you make something and it's
your idea, you always think you have the best idea there is! Hell I
knew someone who came up with the idea to make T-Shirts that said "Bad
Dicky" on it. He thought it was "revolutionary" and was going to
"sell millions" guess what? He sold 3 shirts.

My point here, is understand that you lost because the judges are the
people that in the end knew what they wanted from the contest. Take
this into Phase 2 and learn from it, evolve what you have and make it
better... learn dont argue... you guys are simply setting yourself
back.

For example, I am running a contest right now for graphics on a few
community forums. I am giving the winner a full-time position in my
company with pretty good wages. I have set a few examples of what I
want and I will pick one (out of around 9 applicants). I know what I
am looking for, and not everyone will agree that what I choose is the
best looking examples... but it's what I, as the person running the
contest, feel is what is best-positioned to excel my company forward.

My best hope is that we can all work together to evolve our
applications together in the future. No one is utilizing what a
"portable device" really can be - and this is our chance to make it
happen!

Let's get it done, stop whining, move forward - and start making
progress guys!
