The way I understand percentiles, if your score is higher than the scores of 50% of the participants, you would be in the 50th percentile. If your score is greater than only 25% of the participants, you would be in the 25th percentile. So that means that someone in the 25th - 50th percentile would have a lower score than the one in the 50th - 75th percentile.
So in my mind, the results have been grouped in 4 quartiles top 25% (75 - 99th percentile) 50th - 75th percentile 25th - 50th percentile lower 25% (0-25th percentile) Can someone confirm Google is using the same concept of percentiles here ?
