I agree, but I guess the term Alert is a bit of a misnomer here. If
you look at the samples in API Demos  > App > Dialog, most of them are
not alerts, but they are all built using AlertDialog. As I mentioned
earlier I wanted the same look and feel as the add Bookmark activity
from the browser app, which is also a 'dialog activity'. Right now, I
can only do that using AlertDialog. Users should feel right at home
when they add and edit items in my list because it now works exactly
like the bookmarks activity.
