I support people in my organization who use android phones - I frequently run into people who have set their device to 2G only to save battery and forget that they made that choice. Then they call me at a later date to complain that they aren't getting 3G connections. I've been looking for a way to write an application on the device that can pull that metric and send it to me. I'm only able to find an api for Network the user is currently on - does anyone know if there is a way to determine if the user has made a preference choice for 2G only? It's an option in the Wireless menu but I can't seem to find a way to see if that setting has been chosen. Thanks for the help Craig
