Two issues: (1) What you are doing is not I think what you are wanting. "android:largeScreens" does not mean "resolution is 480x800" or whatever. It means a large screen. That is, a 480x800 at *normal* density. A 480x8xx high density screen (as on Droid, Nexus One, Evo, etc) is a normal screen size.
(2) Market currently has a bug where it assumes all apps are compatible with normal screen devices. This will be fixed at some point, but it shouldn't be an issue for many developers at this point -- it will only matter for trying to target an app for only something like the Dell Streak. There is currently no way to filter apps based on screen density. There is no plan to do this in the same way as screen size, because an app designed for any specific density can always run on a screen with a different density through the platform scaling it in software.
