Hello, I am developing on an android 2.1 build. I am trying to use speech recognition in my application but the whole process of connecting to google each time gets very annoying. I have noticed that the voice dialing does not seem to connect to google (I've tried it in an area with no reception or wifi and it worked). Is there a way to do speech recognition using whatever local methods voice dialing uses? (Or any other methods that don't require the constant disconnecting / reconnecting to google).
