It seems that this error code is returned if the versions of the app on the device and at the server differ (amongst other times).
What if the user buys on the market, but doesn't get a chance to validate before the next version comes out ? With a popular app, this will probably happen every update to someone. Perhaps a separate code would be useful for version codes differing, so the user can be prompted to update ?
