is lv.setAdapter(new ArrayAdapter<String>(this,
R.layout.specialeffectsview, specialEffects)); but this would mean that
R.layout.specialeffectsview doesn't exist, or? And it definitely does (below
is the code I use for the specialeffectsview.xml)
