I'm glad there's an option to fix it. >From the look of things our Launch configuration requires a workspace build before launch. I think at the time we expected that it would only build the launching project, not the whole workspace. We should probably change it to not require a full workspace build. I'll have to check if the launching project is rebuilt no matter what.
