As I understand it, the common library stuff is broken, since you can't put any UI stuff in the library due to naming problems. There was a thread on this topic a week or two back.
String, I think that "hijacking" mostly occurs when someone uses an email reply to start a new thread. It's a bit of ugliness in the Google Groups implementation, and only partly the fault of the poster.
