Maps API key is correct. (I verified using in-correct API and got the error in that case) Internet permission for App are also given via manifest file.
Today saw another error in logs: checkin failed: https://android.clients.google.com/checkin UnknownhostException: android.clients.google.com It seems access to this URL is blocked in my network (although proxy wroks fine) Can you share your inputs on this?
