As Android makes its way into automotive console applications, don't be surprised if some of these rules change. There are regulatory restrictions about what buttons are allowed to function when the vehicle is moving at speed. Of course, app developers will respond by replacing many of the button/touch/gesture items with voice recognition, but it bears thinking about how that paradigm will be different than the handheld case.
