Actually, it is really dependant of the hardware. I made a post on my blog to explain how to use the LED, with the official SDK, here : http://androidblogger.blogspot.com/2009/09/tutorial-how-to-use-led-with-android.html
And it was working really nicely on my G1. BUT : * Some phones don't have any LED at all, or only a white one, or ... whatever... * The nexus one ( I imagine it is your phone ) has this strange behavior : the Led is only activated when the phone is in stand by. I've heard there was some unofficial way to access the LED even when the screen is on on the nexus ( I think it's TweetDesk that have this feature ), but I have no idea how they do it !! ( and that's a shame , because the LED on the N1 is really nice :) Emmanuel / Alocaly http://androidblogger.blogspot.com http://www.alocaly.com On Oct 18, 11:04 pm, KeKeSeB <keke...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > > Is there a way I can make the LED or trackball pulse while my > application is running and the screen is on ?
