I'm getting the following message from the version 8 Android SDK and AVD Manager when I try to refresh the sources:
Failed to fetch URL http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: Permission denied: connect I have no trouble browsing to the URL shown above. I am not using any type of proxy server. My platform is Windows Vista.
