Having the same issue for Mad Yapper with some Samsung Galaxy S devices. It __APPEARS__ that a user was able to fix this issue by doing these steps in Manage Applications:
1) Force Stop 2) Clear Data 3) Uninstall 4) Re-install It sucks to have a user go through this, of course.
