But then how is this not a fork? If what we now call "3.0" is only for tablets, what are we going to call the version that includes 3.0 improvements but is NOT only for tablets? It can't be 3.0, since you already -released- 3.0. Or are you going to call it a 'branch' instead of a 'fork'?
You call 3.0 "the next version of Android", but there is only ONE "next version". After that version, you have to call it something else. Or you have to have subversions.
