i need it because i got reports of problems in my application on motorola droid x which runs android 2.2.1 reporter tried it also on nexus one which is 2.2.2 and there is no problem, i tried on tmobile g1 with 1.6 and it works too. on emulator which is 2.2.2 it works too (and on 2.3.4 and all others i tried also no problem)
