The problem is that on the Galaxy Tab, it *does* execute, just to a do-nothing activity of some form. Ideally, something on the Galaxy Tab would be a more feature-based identifier that we really can't place phone calls. As it stands, AFAIK, we're left with checking manufacturer and model via Build and routing around the problem, which stinks.
