Following up on my earlier post...after failing to reach Brightstar via phone, I sent an email and received a response in an hour or so: "Your order will ship no later than Friday 12/12. You will receive an email with tracking information once it ships."
I never got any shipping email, but FedEx left a door tag, and checking the shipping information, it matches the tracking ID from Brightstar. Ironically it's shipping from about 20 miles away from where I live. So, I'm hoping to have a G1 dev phone tomorrow. I ordered Saturday morning. It seems Brightstar is a bit overwhelmed with this program, but I am cautiously optimistic now. Patience!
