Look up a/the (there are a few) Facebook API.  This is the only sane way to
go about doing this without recreating something that will surely be lacking
compared to a more mature implementation.  After that, you can include the
API in your applictaion, and you should be able to make calls to it.
However, you'll have to read the individual API's documentation.

will surely be more "official."

After you look those up, if you still need help, I suggest you ask
individual api questions to those that own the APIs (not here).  However,
general questions about the intents, broadcasts, etc... that you run into
along the way, if phrased appropriately, will still possibly be good
questions for this list.
